Park Side Partner Program!

Park Side Credit Union supports a multitude of causes, but each year we choose to work very closely with three non-profit organizations in both Missoula and the Flathead Valley.  We select these official Partners with the help of a staff committee and offer each of them a significant donation, employee volunteer groups, and cross-promotion and shared advertising in order to increase their exposure in our communities.  It is a great example of strategic philanthropy and the credit union difference.  Our positive impact is compounded every year and we are creating an unparalleled network of cooperation.  It’s unique, it’s progressive; it’s the Park Side Partner Program.

Flathead – 2017

“Child Bridge simply can’t say enough about the privilege of being selected as a 2017 Park Side Partner! Park Side wants nonprofits to succeed and the creativity, collaboration and encouragement they provide brings so much value to the organization. They truly helped us create additional awareness of the need for well equipped foster and adoptive families for local children in need.”

“It has been wonderful partnering with Park Side Credit Union this past year. Through working together, Park Side and Kalispell Parks and Recreation were able to implement new initiatives and programs that significantly impacted many children and families in the Flathead Valley. And because of Parkside’s financial and volunteer support, these programs will be sustainable far beyond this year as well.

Park Side truly demonstrates their caring and commitment to this community and we look forward to finding ways in which our two organizations can work to better the Flathead Valley in the future.”

#ParkSidePays

  • We pay for purchases
  • We support local businesses
  • We Make Banking Fun – it PAYS to be a member

Random acts of kindness prove to be one of the best ways to engage our members in the community. We attend local events such as Farmers’ Markets and get involved in larger initiatives including Small Business Saturday by taking a group of credit union staff on-site to reward people by paying for their purchases.

We advertise this campaign mostly through social media avenues (Facebook/Twitter) and often surprise shoppers and businesses, showing up unexpectedly with a hefty load of goodwill in our pockets. It’s always entertaining, extremely gratifying, and it’s who we are.

Instead of a mug, bottle or camp chair, how about making our community stronger? Park Side is doing something different with the money by donating a dollar to non-profits for new members!

We believe you need a stronger support community with more fully-funded non-profit organizations. For that reason, we choose to donate $1.00 for every new member account at Park Side Credit Union to a local organization that makes our neck of the woods a better place to live. We’re “passing the bucks”.

Do you have a say in where the money goes? Yes, you do. Please visit the Park Side Credit Union Facebook page and vote each month as we select a new non-profit as the beneficiary. The more our community invests in us, the more we are able to invest in the community. Thanks for joining Park Side, and thanks for contributing to those who serve.
