2026 Park Side Partners | Flathead Valley

Introducing Our 2026 Park Side Partners – Flathead Valley

At Park Side Credit Union, community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we invest in. Through our Park Side Partner Program, we’ve supported 80+ nonprofits and shared over $400,000 over the past 15+ years. In 2026, we’re proud to continue that commitment by partnering with three incredible organizations serving the Flathead Valley.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Glacier Country

For more than 20 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Glacier Country have been serving youth across the Flathead Valley, helping young people, especially those who need it most, reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

With a primary location in Columbia Falls and an additional site in Evergreen, the Club serves more than 100 youth every day after school, supporting students from Kindergarten through high school seniors. Their programs provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment where kids and teens are inspired and equipped to build Great Futures.

Their impact is life-changing, offering mentorship, academic support, leadership development, and a place where every child belongs.

The Making Place

Creativity builds community, and The Making Place is bringing that vision to life in the Flathead Valley.

Founded in 2023 after a strong show of public support for a community makerspace, The Making Place exists to provide creative space and resources where people can make, share, and learn together. Survey results made it clear: our community was ready for workshops and classes, a tool library, and a communal workspace, and The Making Place is delivering.

More than just a makerspace, their goal is to become a community hub — a positive social space centered on connection, creativity, and collaboration rather than consumption. They are empowering a community-driven art scene and helping local making culture flourish.

Abbie Shelter – Celebrating 60 Years

For 60 years, Abbie Shelter has been a pillar of hope and safety in Flathead County, empowering survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault through intervention, advocacy, and education.

Their team specializes in safety planning, helping individuals thoughtfully navigate complex and often dangerous situations. Their work changes lives by providing not only immediate support, but also long-term empowerment and healing.

We are honored to support an organization with such a powerful legacy of service and impact in our community.
